Custom lift trucks are used in the automotive sector as a supplement to the production line to perform operations of gripping and handling semi-finished products in complete safety. This particular equipment allows for the gripping and rotation of car doors. Once manufactured, the car door is inserted into a special pallet for transport; for space reasons, the door is inserted horizontally. Thanks to this solution, the operator is able to extract the doors from the pallet and rotate them to place them on a special stand without damaging them and in complete safety.
